I guess it’s a good thing that everyone here at IndieFlix, including myself, sort of panics when a disgruntled customer or filmmaker reaches out to us. It feels like everyone is calling when in fact it’s only 2 people. 99% of the time it’s a misunderstanding about an announcement or change. We can always improve in that area. Thankfully, a little communication clears it up immediately and we are all happy again. Changes, updates and new features always rock the boat in any company. It’s a good reminder of how challenging it is to evolve a mass of people or make change to a system. Marketing and communication is key. We can always be better at messaging and since we’re here for the long haul we will probably be well served to pace ourselves. We love our customers. We love our filmmakers. We love our jobs but the fast pace of evolving and growing can sometimes stress me out!
